This project investigates how new technological tools can be employed within architectural design.
The Informational Design Guide attempts to establish computational simulation tools as a value adding part of the design process as well as contribute to the architect’s understanding and concerns of lighting and energy relationships in buildings.
To facilitate interpretation of the data and observation of the various relationships, the guide is presented in an interactive interface (flash-based website) where users can easily compare design options, and associated lighting and energy performance.
